Heljä Liukko-Sundström (b. 1938) was one of Finland’s leading ceramic artists in the 20th century. After her art studies at the Institute of Industrial Art in Helsinki, Heljä worked for the Arabia factory for more than 40 years. She was a prominent designer of wall plaques. She is represented at numerous museums in the Nordic countries.
